Portrait of photographer Nader Baydoun with his black labrador in a park

Hi, I'm Nader.

Photographer, Storyteller, & Explorer.

I believe the universe leaves breadcrumbs.

Small moments of beauty that guide us along our path. You just have to be attentive enough to notice them.

To me photography is a way to freeze the feeling of a moment, not to manufacture it.

Why "Monkey Mountain"?

A chance encounter

It began with a backpack in Sri Lanka.

I was the unofficial reporter for my travel group, made of friends that happened to meet at work. Capturing the vibrant chaos of markets and the quiet dignity of ancient temples and the genuine laughs we all shared lit something inside me. But the defining moment happened on a summit called Monkey Mountain.

There, in a moment of pure serendipity, I met a portrait photographer from Snowdonia. We stood there as strangers from different worlds, talking about light, about stories, about the craft. That conversation was the spark. I named my studio Monkey Mountain Photography as a reminder that the best parts of any journey, and any photo session, are often unplanned.

To Richard from Snowdonia: if you ever read this, Thank You.
To Arshad and the whole Sri-Lanka travel group: I will be forever grateful.

My Approach:

Authentic Warmth

Enhanced, not forged

I hold up a mirror to show you a version of yourself you might not always see: full of life, connection, and quiet courage.

My goal isn't to fabricate a 'perfect memory' that isn't real. We are going to embrace the rain and the clouds, the low energy days and the feeling of the moment. I am here to capture the actual memory: the quiet glance between a couple, the joyful chaos of a family, or the personality of your furry friend.

A Touch of Whimsy

Because every story should have a bit of magic, I like to end my sessions with a twist. I pull out my collection of quirky and vintage lenses to capture a few unique, artful shots just for play. It’s my small signature gift to you: wrapping up our time together with a smile.

Ready to capture the real you?

I will be glad to listen to your story and find the best way to represent and capture your personality.
